For 19 years, through thick and thin. We packed up and moved a hundred times, twice across the country, now a shit box apartment, another old car, cried over crappy boyfriends, sweated it out on hot days and cuddled up on icy wintry nights. Work days, vacation days, sick days, he's been my constant companion.
He's non-judgmental, enthusiastic, protective, friendly, thoughtful, loyal, caring, and yes, he's a dog. And a better man than many I know.
